How can I join the Southern Marin Mothers' Club?
There are two ways that you can join SMMC.

How much are the annual dues?
Annual dues for the SMMC are $55 for a one year membership or $90 for a two year membership.

Can I attend an event to learn more about the SMMC and meet members?
YES! We welcome prospective members to attend our events before joining, and applications are always available at all events.  The educational series lectures are free for the first visit - $5.00 for non-members, and arger social events held in the spring, at Halloween, and for the Holidays are $20 per family for non-members. Because of our extensive playgroup placement process, prospective members cannot attend a playgroup until they have joined the club.

Once I send in my application and check and/or register online, when do I start receiving the newsletter?
With our new website we are able to post newsletters online.  So, you will now have access to newsletters immediately!!!  How exciting!  You will find newsletters here: https://www.bigtent.com/group/folder

How do I join a playgroup?
You can now join a playgroup online.  During the membership process you will be asked which playgroups interest you.  If the playgroup has open enrollment, members can join and you will be contacted by a playgroup leader.  If the playgroup is closed, members will work with the playgroups team in order to find a relevant playgroup.   Contact smmc_playgroups@yahoo.com for more information.

How do I update my information?
All members can update their personal information online.  Go to Profile, Edit Profile to change your personal information.

How can I renew my SMMC membership?
Renewals can now be processed online using Big Tent.  The system will notify you three weeks prior to your expiration date.  The system will send reminders to ensure that you don't forget to renew.  Payment can be processed using Paypal, Credit Card or Personal Check as it has been done in the past.

How do I donate a raffle item or services to SMMC?
At many of our events, we offer raffle items, and we're always looking for vendors to sponsor food, beverages, or entertainment for events. If you are interested in donating something, please contact fundraising@southernmarinmoms.com.

How can I advertise with Southern Marin Mothers' Club?
Advertising opportunities are available in the newsletter and website. The newsletter publishes 10 issues annually with July/August and December/January printed as combined issues. Please email advertising@southernmarinmoms.com with your advertising questions.
