SMMC Forum POLICY AND PROCEDURES
BY JOINING THIS GROUP YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS:
1. All postings must be ‘Mom-related’.
2. No commercial solicitations promoting, assisting, or advertising any business -- SMMC member-related or not. Note: email signatures and addresses are fine. This is not intentional advertising or promotion on the part of the sender.
3. No political solicitations.
4. Members posting a general interest question (e.g. looking for child-proofer, or requests for child-friendly resorts near SF) must follow up with a summary of responses. Those interested should either wait for the summary or request answers directly from the original sender (not the entire group). This will eliminate the repetitive ‘I’m also interested’ postings. Specific postings (e.g. search for stroller, interested in nanny share) do not require summaries.
5. Member email addresses and other information are confidential and for the personal use of members only.
6. This list is moderated and members violating the policy will be warned by SMMC Communication Committee. Repeated violators may be banned from using the Yahoo! Group. Questions regarding SMMC’s policy and procedure should be directed to: communications@southernmarinmoms.com
