SMMC is thrilled to announce the return of our annual Preschool Fair in 2024, now in an exciting new venue at the Strawberry Rec Center. This event brings together preschools from across Marin County, providing a fantastic opportunity for attendees to explore various educational options, speak directly with school representatives, and enjoy complimentary refreshments and snacks provided by SMMC. Please note, this event is designed for adults, though babies in arms/carriers are welcome. We are collecting diapers for the Postpartum Support Center so be sure to bring a pack to share with those in need (open packs are accepted). We look forward to seeing you there!

40+ moms is hosting an intimate opportunity to consult with Diane Wilson, LMFT. Diane has over 30 years experience supporting adult children of aging parents. She will offer resources, answer questions and provide ideas to manage changing relationship dynamics for moms with aging parents. This event will be partially covered by SMMC! Tickets will be $15 per person. This event will be limited to 15 attendees.

Join the babies of the July-Sept 2023 Playgroup for their 1st Birthday celebration! We will gather at Millenium Playground in San Anselmo.
Create space mentally, physically and spiritually, and create community with other expecting mamas. You will take time to breathe, to embrace your changing body, and to honor all the hard work you are doing nourishing a new life. Our goal is that every expecting momma will leave class with a deeper understanding of her body and her pregnancy. Each class will include breathwork, mindfulness meditation, and movement to support every stage of pregnancy and help with labor preparation. Modifications will be offered and props will be utilized to accommodate every stage of the prenatal journey.SMMC Prenatal Yoga at Metta Yoga in San Rafael. All levels welcome! Registration required $15/pp (drop in usually $32pp)

The Toddler & Pre-Kinder Moms Group is hosting a special workshop titled, “How to Pick a Preschool,” led by local expert Cara Guyot, also known as The Cubby Coach. Cara will share her knowledge about preschools in Marin, the application process, and important things to consider when researching and picking a school. The event will take place on Wednesday, October 23, from 7 to 9 pm at the Mill Valley Recreation Center.
