Join us for a special Pregnant Mama Social, and hear directly from Kelly Phipps and Mollee Franklin, local doulas and lactation consultants, as they discuss the importance of prenatal choices including how to select and build a badass birth team that will help set you up for a satisfying and healthy birth experience.

In true SMMC fashion, we will have some light snacks and beverages.

Kelly Phipps is a Birth and Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation Educator Counselor, Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and local Mom to three awesome kids. Originally from Ireland, she has been happily serving Bay Area families since 2010 and lives in Lucas Valley with her husband and young daughters. Kelly is a proud cesarean and 2VBAC Mama and a passionate Birth Rights and VBAC advocate. She believes that everyone deserves a healthy, satisfying birth experience, characterized by informed consent, full body autonomy and respectful, individualized care during all stages of pregnancy, labor and postpartum.

Mollee Franklin has worked as a Birth and Postpartum Doula, Lactation Educator and Childbirth Educator in the Bay Area for over 15 years. She works with women and families throughout Marin and brings her many years of experience to every birth she attends or class she teaches. As a parent to two wonderful children, Mollee knows firsthand how important it is to have experienced support during this very special journey into pregnancy and parenting.
