For many of us, the concept of homeschooling - prior to mid-March of this year at least! - was unchartered territory. While some parents can’t wait to send their children back to school, others are exploring new possibilities in the realm of yearlong home education. Ruth Blanding, who contributed to the latest crier magazine on the same topic, will provide SMMC’s mamas an overview of the different homeschool options available and a chance to ask her any questions at this webinar.

Ruth Anne Blanding is the mother of 6 wonderful children. The eldest is 23. She had homeschooled since her second oldest was in kindergarten; now 12 years.
She is well versed in the many various styles and functions of homeschooling as well as available resources and coaches families just beginning their homeschool journey as well as assisting in refocusing homeschoolers who seek a little refocusing.She can also help to build the framework for curriculum creation with families who seek to create their own flow for learning.
