What is this?
Pacific Preparatory is hosting a webinar "How to Engage Your Resistant Child In Remote Learning" with education and child development specialists Jess Durrett and Jennifer Reid to discuss how parents can work with the challenges they may face this fall in helping their kids thrive in their remote learning program. SMMC members are welcome to attend
They will provide specific tips for mitigating those challenges as well as alternative ways to think about a child’s resistance to learning activities. This webinar may be especially helpful for parents of children with learning differences or parents with children who resisted remote learning in the spring. Although it is geared mainly towards parents of children in grades preK-6, the information is generally applicable to all age/grade levels. Presentation will run 20-25 mins and will be followed by a Q&A with Jess and Jennifer.
Date: Thursday, August 13, 2020
Time: 9:30am-10:15am (PST)
*Please note that we will send a recording of the webinar to all registrants following the event so if you can't make that date/time, please still consider signing up so we can send you the recording.
